Z-BioScience products represent a transformation in cleaning technology. Instead of relying solely on chemicals to kill microbes, they leverage probiotic bacteria combined with biosurfactant chemistry to deliver a “True Clean.”
Probiotic organisms rapidly colonize surfaces, naturally competing with and out-competing harmful pathogens (competitive exclusion) rather than simply eradicating microbes and leaving a void.
They clean at the microscopic level, help control biofilms, reduce surface contamination (as measured by ATP testing), and maintain cleanliness for up to three days. Moreover, they're non-toxic, pH-neutral, biodegradable, and safe around children and pets.
Traditional cleaners often remove grime and microbes but don't offer lasting protection, surfaces can be re-contaminated within hours. Z-BioScience products are different because they leave behind live, beneficial probiotic bacteria that colonize surfaces and remain active.
These probiotics continue to consume organic residues, suppress bad bacteria, and prevent rapid re-growth. Scientific measures using ATP (a marker of surface contamination) show that surfaces treated with probiotic cleaners stay cleaner for much longer, typically up to 72 hours (three days).
In the context of cleaning, probiotics are beneficial, non-pathogenic microorganisms (commonly bacteria such as Bacillus species) that are safe for humans and the environment (GRAS – Generally Regarded As Safe).

- They may be toxic, irritant, or environmentally harmful and often leave strong chemical residues and odours.
