Hayden York

Hayden has been involved for over thirty years in the assessment and management of indoor built environments – including IAQ, IEQ, mould, asbestos, HVAC systems and soft flooring.  He’s a certified practitioner in mould ecology, specialised in IEQ consultation, assessment and remediation and trained in multiple areas of mould microbiology.

Hayden holds Australian and international credentials.  He is a regular presenter and keynote speaker at conferences across Australia and overseas, on a variety of issues in relation to indoor built environments. Hayden and the HBSA team have designed bespoke training programs for clients.

Eric has over twenty years of extensive training and education in Indoor Air Quality investigations, remediation, diagnostics and more. He is a lecturer and trainer in the field, and has worked for Homeland Security in the US as well as on site work with disaster relief teams after events like Hurricane Katrina and super storm Sandy. As an industry expert Mr Shapiro has collaborated with Australian government departments, regional hospitals and several of Australia’s largest companies.

Joseph is President of IAQ Training Institute, LLC. He is responsible for all aspects of course development, approval, instruction and management. The Institute teaches IAQA approved courses in Microbial Remediation, Microbial Investigation/Consulting and Indoor Environmental Quality Investigation/Consulting. As part of the IAQTI, Mr Hughes has trained employees from over 2,000 companies across the US and Caribbean and also co-hosts a weekly podcast on IAQ Radio.
